Job Responsibilities:
We are in search of a talented and dynamic Strategic Customer Engagement Manager who will report directly to the Director of Channel Sales Development.
Location:
This position is based in our corporate headquarters with a hybrid work schedule.
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Formulating customer strategies and conducting comprehensive business analyses to pinpoint significant growth initiatives and essential customer communications.
- Collaboration on Customer Selling Solutions:
Assist in crafting BTB selling messages and campaigns aimed at delivering a cohesive voice and direction to meet customer sales objectives. - Support the Sales Force in strategizing and preparing for critical customer negotiations, addressing any objections related to these messages and initiatives.
- Exhibit expertise in developing internal and external sales presentations, utilizing polished visualizations and compelling storytelling that aligns with internal initiatives and consumer insights.
- Serve as a liaison among sales, sales operations, and marketing for planning related to merchandising events, new product launches, asset development, and media strategies.
- Lead the Integrated Commercial Planning process for the primary customer under your responsibility, producing annual 4P playbooks and customer plans for national sales meetings.
- Retail Communication:
Oversee the selling pages of the Retail Playbook, ensuring content is regularly updated. - Facilitate town hall meetings and act as the main point of contact for customer account managers.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to devise initiatives that enhance revenue growth.
- Work alongside Finance and pricing teams to establish and maintain pricing guidelines, price/pack/architecture, and promotional planning with a focus on ROI.
- Drive gap-closing initiatives and develop strategies to achieve annual targets.
- Manage reporting and tracking programs for new product introductions.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and at least 3 years in sales is highly preferred.
- Ability to synthesize data from various sources effectively.
- Proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage diverse groups.
- Exceptional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present data accurately and credibly.
- Experience in sales, trade marketing, and shopper marketing.
- Familiarity with syndicated data systems (Nielsen/IRI).
- Experience interacting with customers and customer managers.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, with eligibility for a 15% annual bonus.
