Job Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent Engineering and Consulting Firm to identify a qualified Environmental Project Engineer. Below is a detailed overview of the position. We encourage you to review the requirements carefully.

Essential Qualifications for the Environmental Project Engineer:

#1. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

#2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the assessment and/or remediation of sites affected by environmental issues.

#3. Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is mandatory; a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license is advantageous but not essential.

#4. Completion of the 40-hour HAZWOPER training and an 8-hour refresher course is required.

Key Requirements for the Role:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • EIT certification is essential; a PE license is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in site investigation and/or remediation of environmentally impacted locations.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and annual 8-hour refresher, if applicable, are required.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are necessary. The role requires travel for site assessments, meetings, data collection, and training, which may involve extensive travel throughout and beyond the region.

Additional Key Considerations:

  • This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days of in-office work per week.
  • We do not offer sponsorships or accept visa holders. Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not permitted.
