We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Environmental Engineering Project Manager with 5-8 years of expertise in the environmental consulting sector to join our team.

This role encompasses a variety of projects including site evaluations, remediation efforts, and hydrological design and implementation.

We are looking for a Project Manager who is eager to engage in a broad spectrum of assignments, from site assessments to compliance with regulations, feasibility studies, and the design and execution of remediation strategies.

This position offers the potential for leadership within our Northern CA team. Our organization values empowering team members to passionately pursue their professional goals without constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist or oversee project management.
Develop Work Plans.

Lead technical teams collaborating across multiple locations nationwide, addressing challenges, preparing plans and specifications, and engaging with clients and subcontractors.

Draft Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and coordinate the scheduling of investigative activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air quality, soil gas, and stormwater sampling).

Projects may involve vapor intrusion assessment, mitigation strategies, groundwater remediation design and execution, soil remediation system design and implementation, and the operation, maintenance, and optimization of remediation systems.

Provide environmental compliance assistance to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permits and registrations, data analysis, regulatory compliance assessments, and evaluations.

Collaborate with team members and project engineers and scientists to develop and assess remedial alternatives and options analyses.
Work with staff to prepare bid specifications and assess contractor proposals.

Provide oversight to teams during the construction and operational phases of the designed treatment technologies, monitoring and evaluating treatment effectiveness, and ensuring regulatory reporting.

Participate in the development and review of technical documents, reports, and designs.

Ensure quality assurance and quality control of deliverables on self-managed projects as well as those managed by others.

Foster collaboration within dynamic project teams and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, or a related environmental discipline.
P.E. or P.G. certification.
5-8 years of experience in environmental engineering.
HAZWOPER training and certification.
Familiarity with RCRA and CERCLA processes (RI/FS, RD/RA, ROD) and associated documentation.
Prior experience in environmental investigation and remediation.
Understanding of federal facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated work ethic.
Willingness to travel to support ongoing environmental projects.
