Essential Qualifications for the Geotechnical Project Manager:

#1. A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in a relevant discipline such as environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geological engineering, geology, environmental science, or earth science is mandatory.

#2. A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience or equivalent training is required.

#3. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a prerequisite for this position.

#4. Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) credentials are preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent training is necessary.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have personal transportation for site visits, meetings, data collection, and training. Travel requirements will vary based on project demands.
  • For engineering candidates, EIT certification is required; PE licensure is encouraged.
  • Engagement in ongoing education, professional societies, or leadership activities is expected, such as pursuing advanced degrees or participating in public speaking organizations.
  • Active participation in industry conferences, technical events, and professional organization meetings is valued. Involvement in client interest groups, mentorship programs, or external professional committees is encouraged. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations, both internally and externally, as required.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days a week in the office.
  • We do not offer sponsorships or accept visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp arrangements.
