Regional Sales Executive

The Regional Sales Executive plays a crucial role in fostering customer connections, pursuing potential leads, and serving as a bridge between designated clients and our Operations team.
The primary aim of the Regional Sales Executive is to uphold relationships with their designated customer portfolio while also focusing on acquiring new business through lead generation and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and cultivate existing and new commercial and industrial business opportunities.
Conduct regular sales calls within a defined area and customer base.
Organize sales territories and maintain a consistent call schedule.
Build and sustain relationships with assigned clients by establishing trust and rapport.
Act as a liaison between clients and our Operations and Customer Experience teams, providing support for account maintenance and service inquiries as necessary.
Communicate delivery timelines to clients based on knowledge of company processes and schedules.
Engage in research to address product, service, and delivery challenges.
Partner with clients by understanding their needs, proposing solutions, and following up on issues.
Follow up on leads generated through online inquiries, phone calls, and referrals, ensuring all activities are documented in the company CRM.
Generate new leads through cold calling, referrals, and sales outreach within the assigned territory.
Monitor and report on sales volumes and field activities to management weekly.
Travel throughout the assigned territory to engage with both current and prospective clients.
Become a trusted advisor for your client base by learning about our manufacturers' programs and educating clients on optimal lubrication practices.
Prepare sales agreements, price quotes, and credit applications for clients. Effectively present information to clients to facilitate closing deals.Represent The McPherson Companies, Inc. and our products ethically and professionally to clients and prospects.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in both B2C and B2B environments, demonstrating excellent communication, organizational, and closing skills.
A bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience in a field environment is desirable.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, surpassing goals, and meeting deadlines.
Ability to make independent decisions within the scope of the role.
Documented history of building and maintaining relationships successfully.
Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks within established deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in identifying and resolving complex issues with minimal guidance.
Responsive to the needs of both internal and external customers.
Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment with strong follow-up skills.
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions with customers, both internal and external.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated individual with strong planning and organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
The role is performed in a controlled office environment.
This position requires the ability to work under pressure and engage with a diverse range of individuals, including colleagues, clients, and vendors.
Prolonged periods of sitting and the use of standard office equipment, including phones, printers, and computers, are necessary.
