POSITION SUMMARY

The Energy Assistance Program Coordinator serves as a key resource within our Energy Services division. This role is essential in guiding clients through the fuel and electric assistance application process. The individual in this position is tasked with ensuring that the services rendered to clients meet the highest standards of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High School diploma or GED (mandatory)
  • Associate degree or relevant experience in the nonprofit sector (preferred)
  • Knowledge of community social services, such as LIHEAP or Electric Assistance Program, or the ability to quickly learn about these resources
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, with a capability to swiftly adapt to program-specific software. Experience with web-based applications is advantageous.

Proficiency in creating and managing databases, as well as generating reports that adhere to agency and contractual obligations.
