Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week

Probationary Period: Ninety (90) days

POSITION SUMMARY

The Energy Assistance Program Coordinator serves as a vital resource within our Energy Services division. This role involves assisting clients throughout the application process for fuel and electric assistance programs. The individual in this position is tasked with ensuring that clients receive top-tier services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High School diploma or GED (mandatory)
  • Associate degree or relevant experience in the nonprofit sector (preferred)
  • Familiarity with community social services, such as LIHEAP or Electric Assistance Program, or the ability to quickly learn about these resources
  • Proficient computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn program-specific software swiftly. Experience with web-based computing is advantageous.

Ability to develop and maintain databases, as well as produce reports that align with agency and contractual standards.
