The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure safe operating conditions, monitor production performance, and work with Operations management to achieve goals in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee production operations to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor production performance and work with Operations management to achieve goals in a timely manner, including meeting production schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure that all operators are properly trained to perform their tasks and are equipped with the necessary tools and resources.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure production schedules and outputs are met, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and work conditions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Quickly escalate to other departments as necessary to resolve problems that affect attainment of the production schedule.
  • Monitor the condition of tooling and fixtures and coordinate the repair, modification, or construction of new tooling or fixtures to maintain high-quality product outputs.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production Operators to achieve and maintain high-quality product outputs.
  • Monitor production status and provide regular reports to management and other appropriate personnel.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the production staff in the assigned area.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of experience in the manufacturing of electronic components.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a high-change environment with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a production team for a global technology company.
  • Documented expertise in an ERP/MRP as it relates to the manufacturing of electronic components.
  • Demonstrated strength in written and oral communication with technically driven customers and staff.
