About the Role

The Program Support Specialist is a key member of the Center for Professional Excellence team, providing exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Center for Professional Excellence team, including responding to inquiries, managing correspondence, and maintaining office records.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements for the team, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars.
  • Event Planning: Assist with planning and executing events, including conferences, workshops, and meetings.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Center for Professional Excellence team, responding to emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or higher education setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
