Responsibilities

Drees Homes is currently looking for a New Home Sales Trainee in our Washington DC Division. This role will focus on the Stafford area. As a trainee, you will be preparing to become an on-site New Home Sales Representative. The Training Program will equip you with the necessary tools and knowledge to address customer inquiries regarding products, financing, warranties, and construction processes. A significant portion of your training will involve shadowing an experienced New Home Sales Representative in their model/sales office, gaining insights into the new home sales process. Upon successful completion of the training, you will transition to a commission-based role as a New Home Sales Representative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend and apply all sales forms, procedures, contracts, and policies.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients.
  • Present the company's offerings in a professional manner.
  • Complete all sections of the Trainee Program Manual successfully.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company's product lines, subdivisions, and relevant community amenities.
  • Welcome all prospective customers and showcase the model home.
  • Maintain the model home site to ensure it is well-kept and presentable.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in computer technology.
  • 1-2 years of successful sales experience (retail or service environment preferred).
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience (retail or service environment preferred).
  • Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Availability for weekend and evening hours is required.
