Regional Client Relations Coordinator

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Client Relations Coordinator to oversee essential customer accounts within our regional operations. This role involves managing customer interactions, reporting, pricing, and various projects while providing support and training to customer service teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for significant clients to foster and enhance business relationships.
  • Manage special initiatives, including product rollouts and returns processing.
  • Offer pricing for expedited deliveries, manage bookings, and ensure follow-up communications.
  • Facilitate shipment pricing and modifications that exceed standard parameters.
  • Provide training and support for customer service representatives at regional service centers.
  • Conduct sales outreach to key clients as a supplementary resource for the sales team.
  • Oversee reporting and special initiatives for the Regional Vice President.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the transportation sector, with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience in inside or outside sales and project management is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and make high-level decisions.
