  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, consistently addressing safety concerns and promoting adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Oversee and manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing receipts, bills of lading, and orders for our valued clients.
  • Engage in effective communication with transportation, management, co-workers, and customers through appropriate channels such as phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications to manage customer data and generate tailored reports as needed.
  • Monitor products that are damaged or on hold, coordinating with vendors and operational staff to resolve issues promptly.
  • Consistently strive to respond to customer inquiries and enhance their experience.
  • Approach all situations with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for both customers and the organization.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring workflows are organized to meet customer deadlines.
  • Gather and assess relevant information to address product and service inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to maintain a comprehensive understanding of overall operations.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies between the WMS and customer systems.
  • Work in conjunction with the inbound receiving team to ensure vendor compliance and act as a liaison to resolve specific compliance challenges.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in customer service within the third-party logistics sector.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (AS400) is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data entry, and internet-based tools.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week as needed.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • General office environment.
  • Frequent sitting and repetitive hand movements for computer use.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
