Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Care: Develop and implement patient care plans, assign duties to nursing staff, and monitor patient progress to ensure continuity of care.
- Lead Nursing Team: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Manage Resources: Allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient use of personnel, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure Patient Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, investigate and report any incidents or accidents.
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in clinical nursing, with at least 1 year experience as a charge nurse.
- Licensure: Registered nurse licensure to work in the state of TN.
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
This position requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly is essential.
