About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our H60 Neurosciences Nursing Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to complex neurological medical and surgical patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, brain and spine tumors, and other conditions.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adhering to approved nursing protocols.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
