Neurosciences Nursing Unit Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences Nursing Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with complex neurological medical and surgical patients, providing high-quality care and contributing to the advancement of our nursing practice.
Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, and communicate with healthcare team members as needed.
- Assess and Coordinate Patient Care: Assess patient's discharge planning needs, coordinate with healthcare team members, and ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Provide Education and Support: Assess educational needs of patients and significant others, provide teaching and educational material, and validate patient understanding.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of our nursing practice.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), and other certifications as required by the unit.
- Work Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
