As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to complex neurological medical and surgical patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, brain and spine tumors, and other neurodegenerative diseases.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our team of specialists, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, and rehabilitation therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care settings.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BSN preferred
- Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)
- Additional certifications may be required, depending on the specific unit and patient population
