Neuroscience Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our nursing practice.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, promoting seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare and promoting health literacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies that enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on neurosciences or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required depending on the specific unit or department.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
