Senior Access Services Coordinator at Premier Health Partners

This role operates under the guidance of the Access Supervisor/Manager. The Senior Access Services Coordinator is tasked with fostering transparent communication with the Supervisor/Manager regarding matters, prospects, and circumstances related to Access Services. This position is crucial for training team members and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Senior Access Services Coordinator is responsible for financial counseling, collecting co-payments and deductibles, and educating patients and their families about financial assistance options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a diverse range of duties while demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Uphold superior customer service standards
  • Engage in clear communication with healthcare providers, patients, and colleagues
  • Exhibit proficiency in both functional and technical skills
  • Comply with regulatory standards and safeguard patient confidentiality

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of two years of experience in customer service and general office procedures
  • Certification in Medical Terminology is advantageous
  • Proficient in Windows-based computer systems
  • Outstanding verbal and listening communication abilities
  • Capability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations

The Senior Access Services Coordinator must cultivate effective relationships with all stakeholders, possess strong mathematical skills, and operate standard office equipment. A comprehensive understanding of third-party collections, registration processes, billing, and contractual agreements is preferred.
