Job Summary

Premier Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and financial counseling process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and enter pertinent financial and demographic information into the ADT system
  • Verify insurance benefit information and generate the ABN
  • Review orders for compliance and complete MSP
  • Obtain financial and treatment consents
  • Place ordered medical procedures and obtain pre-certification when applicable
Requirements
  • High School completion / GED
  • Preferred educational qualifications: Associates Degree in healthcare or related business field
  • Proficient in Windows-based computer technology, including keyboarding and typing at least 25 wpm
  • Medical Terminology certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • General clerical/office experience
  • Hospital, medical office/clinic, or insurance company experience
