Who We Are Seeking:

We are in search of a motivated, Senior-level Product Manager who is quick to learn, humble, and adept at navigating significant ambiguity within some of the industry's most advanced machine-learning projects. The ideal candidate will be a technically proficient and data-oriented collaborator who comprehends how the intricacies and objectives of their product align with The Trade Desk's mission of enhancing the advertising ecosystem for the open internet. They will possess a growth mindset and strive to achieve product-market fit alongside their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

As the representative of our global customers, you will gain a profound understanding of how to enhance user experiences through software. One of our core product principles is to "do the right thing." We expect you to embody our company's values and exercise sound judgment by balancing the needs of our diverse agency clients, partnerships, and the programmatic industry at large. In this role, you will oversee the roadmap and execution for various data-centric products, which may include UI/API experiences for constructing and managing data science models and pipelines that dictate how we assess and bid on advertising opportunities. As a Product Manager for data products, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across our UX/UI, Data Partnerships, Data Science, and Engineering Teams, facilitating discussions around workflow implementations, visualizations, model strategies, and customer impact. Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders globally to realize our shared vision for programmatic advertising.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • A background in software development, engineering, or data science/analytics is advantageous.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear and concise communication.
  • Visionary thinking to identify, outline, and shape the roadmap for major initiatives in collaboration with various stakeholders, including leadership, engineering, data science, and product.
  • A passion for your work and the features you develop.
  • Resilience in problem-solving, demonstrating creativity and multiple iterations to reach the right solution.
  • Collaborative spirit, ensuring that the right tasks are accomplished by the team.
  • Selflessness, focusing on enabling the team to achieve the best outcomes and sharing credit for successes.

  • A strong interest and reasonable understanding of computing and deep learning, coupled with a passion for technology and its application to large-scale problems.

Bonus:

Prior experience with pricing systems and machine learning models is a plus.
