Job Title: Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team at Yoh. As a Compensation Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing compensation for various roles within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compensation Management: Manage compensation for Financial Representatives, Registered Representatives, Financial Professionals, Brokers, Wholesalers, and other agents, ensuring accurate compensation and processing their contracts.
  • Field Compensation: Interpret producer contracts and compensation schedules for Park Avenue Securities and Berkshire, ensuring accuracy in field compensation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the Agent Contracting and Licensing team to ensure compensation aligns with state license regulations, which change frequently.
  • Commission Processing: Process assignment of commissions while adhering to legal requirements, and ensure the accurate dissemination of information regarding commissions.
  • Confidentiality: Provide confidential compensation details to internal departments such as Legal, Audit, Agency Accounting Services, and Distribution Alliance.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle paper, NSCC, and IPS commission statements and adjustments, identifying various types of commissions and product types.
  • Customer Service: Address commission-related inquiries, provide problem research, resolution, and ensure accurate dissemination of information to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on compensation management and commission processing.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and processing commission-related transactions.
  • Strong communication skills with experience handling inquiries and resolving issues related to commissions.
