Job Summary

Location: On-site in our Bryan Credit office.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in loan administration, office operations, or customer service within the financial services, mortgage, or title insurance sectors, or equivalent experience as determined by Capital Farm Credit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently by welcoming clients, responding to inquiries, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Investigate and resolve issues with minimal assistance.
  • Process loan applications by reviewing completed documents for accuracy and completeness, and communicate with applicants regarding additional requirements.
  • Input essential loan data into origination systems, including financial details such as balance sheets. Obtain credit reports and generate credit scores for both routine and complex loans.
  • Conduct necessary searches within various systems for borrowing entities, ensuring compliance with tax status, OFAC regulations, UCC lien positions, and other defined areas.
  • Draft and communicate initial credit decisions to applicants, providing updates and additional requirements throughout the due diligence process.
  • Request and comprehend title commitments and related documents from title companies relevant to each loan file, coordinating with internal departments for necessary reviews and approvals.
  • Review loan origination files to identify errors and ensure accuracy before submitting for loan committee approval and processing requests.
  • Coordinate loan closings with title companies, borrowers, and internal teams, ensuring the assembly, review, and delivery of closing packets for execution.
  • Onboard new loans from the origination system into the accounting system, disbursing loan proceeds and ensuring compliance with closing instructions and conditions.
  • Ensure proper lien perfection through deeds of trust and/or UCC filings, maintaining electronic loan files and sending original documents to the Collateral Custodian.
  • Process loan payments and related tasks necessary for servicing the loan portfolio.
  • Maintain knowledge of cooperative structures, patronage programs, and Capital Farm Credit product offerings, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Initiate and process credit servicing actions, ensuring documentation accuracy and prompt updates to accounting systems.
  • Stay informed about required procedures, policies, and regulations, applying them with appropriate oversight.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple systems and programs used in lending and office administration.
  • Assist with general office administration and operate standard office equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • General knowledge of accounting and financial systems.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and office equipment for file management and retrieval.
  • Understanding of documentation requirements for title insurance, deeds of trust, UCC financing statements, and related areas.
  • Proficient in professional correspondence principles, Microsoft Office applications, and organizational practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
