Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to enhance our retail operations.

The position provides an hourly wage starting at $19.00, along with opportunities for unlimited commission ranging from 2-8% based on personal performance, plus potential bonuses linked to overall store success.

Role Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager will play a vital role in overseeing daily store operations and fostering a positive atmosphere. This position collaborates closely with the Store Manager to lead and nurture store personnel, ensuring the recruitment and retention of high-caliber talent, achieving financial objectives, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
You will also be responsible for analyzing financial reports to ensure targets are met, while committing to asset protection protocols and driving customer acquisition strategies. The role involves working with a diverse range of merchandise, including jewelry and electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a customer-focused environment by engaging with patrons in a professional manner and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in training staff to meet FirstCash standards.
- Oversee store opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with asset protection protocols.
- Manage inventory control and ensure the safety of property.
- Implement processes for loan management and merchandising.
- Analyze financial statements to drive profitability through effective communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operational standards align with FirstCash expectations.
- Monitor loan qualification processes to maintain integrity.
- Complete self-development tasks as assigned.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding store objectives.
- Stay informed on product knowledge.
- Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Proven supervisory skills.
- Must be able to work with firearms and achieve certification.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility to work in various locations as needed.
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Point-of-Sale systems.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Experience in cash handling is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and business acumen.
