NIGHT RECEPTION SPECIALIST - 11PM-7AM

Position Overview:

The Night Reception Specialist is responsible for welcoming and registering guests, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, executing end-of-day reports, and addressing any guest concerns throughout their stay. The specialist will also promote hotel services and amenities, enhancing the guest experience through effective upselling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Facilitate the registration process by accurately entering and retrieving guest information from the hotel management system, confirming essential details such as guest count and room rates.
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and requirements, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Generate electronic keys and confirm room details with guests discreetly.
- Promote loyalty programs and hotel offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Provide guests with essential information regarding their accommodations, including a welcome packet with room keys and complimentary items.
- Ensure all services rendered are correctly documented on guest statements and assist with payment processing during check-out.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone and email, ensuring all requests are addressed efficiently.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Night Reception Specialist may be required to perform various supportive tasks, which may include:
  • Maintaining composure and alertness during busy periods or emergencies, effectively resolving issues such as room changes or billing discrepancies.
  • Addressing guest complaints with thorough investigation and negotiation to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Adhering to hotel safety and security protocols at all times.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Embrace the Tru by Hilton culture by understanding and participating in all operational elements. Demonstrate a solid understanding of service standards and maintain regular attendance as per company guidelines. Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality sector, flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet the hotel's operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
