  • Assist customers both in-store and via phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications when required.
  • Restock shelves and create visually appealing displays.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery efforts as necessary.
  • Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and available options.
  • Adhere to inventory management protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have received a minimum rating of "meets expectations" (3) on the most recent performance evaluation.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Completion of at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Prior experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish.
