Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Device Inspector to join our team at Life Science Outsourcing, Inc. in Brea, California. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming medical devices meet the necessary quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting Incoming Medical Devices: Perform thorough visual inspections and dimensional measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Verifying Product Compliance: Verify that all incoming medical devices meet the necessary quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and Documenting Non-Conformance: Identify and document any non-conformance found during inspection.
  • Participating in Investigations: Participate in investigations related to non-conformance or product quality issues.
  • Developing and Implementing Inspection Procedures: Assist with the development and implementation of inspection procedures.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results.
  • Communicating with Team Members: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in quality control related field preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical devices regulations and standards preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to use measuring tools and equipment, detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to bend, stoop and lift objects.
