Front Desk Associate Job Description

VP Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at the Pounding Mill hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Handle guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist guests with inquiries and requests.
  • Respond to guest complaints and work to resolve any issues in a fair and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies and materials are available.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in and any maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
  • Keep track of room availability and make reservations for future bookings.
  • Upsell hotel amenities and promote special packages to guests.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with hotel booking software a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
