Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Hampton Inn Lamar. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in/Check-out: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of guest arrivals and departures, including handling payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Problem-solving: Anticipate and resolve guest concerns and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain accurate and secure handling of cash and credit transactions, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the front office team to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Mathematical Skills: Strong skills in mathematics for basic computations, including handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as special events.
  • Education: High school or equivalent education required.
