Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced candidates for the role of Chief Pilot on a CL300 aircraft, operating from a base location. This position involves a two-pilot setup, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, ensuring compliance with Part 135 regulations.

The Chief Pilot is entrusted with the ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role requires adherence to all regulatory and company standards while providing an outstanding service experience to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
  • Oversees crew assignments and trip planning to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Conducts thorough flight planning, performance assessments, and weight and balance calculations for each mission.
  • Employs Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks effectively.
  • Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with internal personnel as necessary. Acts as the Security Coordinator for both ground and in-flight operations as per company policy.
  • Completes all pre-flight checks, ensuring the aircraft is in optimal condition for missions, and documents any discrepancies in line with SOPs.
  • Monitors and manages all ground servicing tasks (e.g., fueling, oil checks) in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conducts passenger briefings as per company policy and regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest level of customer service and addressing any special needs.
  • Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to maintain clear and timely communication with crew and support staff during all phases of operation.
Providing Exceptional Service:
  • Delivers high-quality service to clients and passengers, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the overall service experience. Investigates and resolves any service discrepancies.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow crew members and internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for clients. Effectively addresses conflicts and challenges.
Maintaining Compliance and Proficiency:
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company-required training and maintains recency of experience.
  • Participates in the company Safety Management System (SMS) and reports any safety or compliance issues through the appropriate channels.
Experience Requirements

4-6 years of relevant experience in aviation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is preferred.
  • Possession of an FAA Type rating for the applicable aircraft.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the role.
  • Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
    • Total flight time: 3500 hours
    • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
Compensation Package

Salary range: $110,000 - $432,000
