Key Responsibilities of the Chief Medical Officer, Lead Clinical Investigator, Senior Physician Executive:

  • Provide overall medical leadership and review of protocols in alignment with the investigational plan and good clinical practices.
  • Assess the medical and scientific feasibility of all new sponsor inquiries.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all study participants at the trial site.
  • Guarantee the credibility and accuracy of data collected at the study site.
  • Protect the rights, integrity, and confidentiality of all trial participants.
  • Offer guidance and support to clinical operations research staff and sponsor client managers as needed.

Qualifications for the Chief Medical Officer, Lead Clinical Investigator, Senior Physician Executive:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in clinical research is strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in psychiatry or psychiatric evaluations is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a psychiatry, primary care, internal medicine, or hospital clinical environment is required.
  • An M.D. degree is mandatory.
  • Experience in industry research and industry-sponsored clinical trials is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and biomedical research ethics is essential.
