Position Overview:
As a Lead Protein Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in our Protein Production and Quality Attributes team. This position involves leading a high-throughput production team dedicated to advancing Bristol Myers Squibb's biotherapeutic pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide laboratory leadership and management for the high-throughput production group.
2. Enhance group capabilities by staying updated on state-of-the-art production techniques and facilitating their implementation.
3. Act as the primary contact for discovery biotherapeutics regarding high-throughput production methods, managing requests, analyzing results, and maintaining data integrity.
4. Collaborate with various project teams to advise on production and quality attributes of biotherapeutics, ensuring alignment with program needs.
5. Serve as a subject matter expert in mammalian vector design and stable cell line development.
6. Drive the timely progression of discovery projects and contribute to the development of next-generation biotherapeutics.
7. Independently develop and execute innovative high-throughput production strategies.
8. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and updates to project teams and stakeholders.
9. Oversee laboratory organization and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years in the field.
- Preferred: PhD with expertise in high-throughput production of monoclonal antibodies and related modalities.
- Experience in biotherapeutic production pipeline support and team management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including cloning and vector design, is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
