Role Overview:
The Senior Oncology Sales Specialist (OS) operates in the field and reports directly to a District Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
As the OS, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing sales strategies by promoting existing and potential new oncology therapeutics within designated specialties and accounts.
  • Exhibiting a comprehensive understanding of the products' clinical effectiveness and safety, articulating a compelling value proposition for clients, and providing clinical information as necessary to meet brand sales goals.
  • Conducting thorough business analyses, actively seeking new business opportunities within your territory, aligning with sales and marketing strategies, and developing account plans in collaboration with the District Manager and internal stakeholders.
  • Creating customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that outline objectives, inquiries, and supporting approved materials.
  • Utilizing all company-approved marketing tools and resources effectively, including digital presentations, and employing a structured selling skills framework to advance in the sales cycle.
  • Organizing and attending relevant oncology conferences, which may occur on weekends.
  • Engaging in discussions about access and reimbursement options with clients to enhance sales opportunities using approved resources and messaging.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $112,000 to $161,000, complemented by a competitive sales incentive compensation program. This role is eligible for a company vehicle through the Company's FLEET program.

Eligible employees and their dependents may participate in various Company-sponsored employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Additionally, employees may participate in the Company's retirement plan and savings plan.

Time Off Benefits:
Employees are entitled to:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Qualifications:
Required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required, including overnight and/or weekend travel
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or a recent transition from Active-Duty Military
  • The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight/weekend travel
  • Residence in the designated geography or willingness to relocate

Preferred:

  • Experience in specialty sales and a solid understanding of Medical Oncology
  • A proven track record of success and the ability to influence key stakeholders in a competitive selling environment
  • Experience in hospital and large account sales with documented successful sales performance in a complex and competitive setting
