Position Overview

Salem's Fresh Eats is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee the success of four of our vibrant restaurant locations. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Directly manage the day-to-day operations of four restaurant locations, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
  • Quality Assurance Champion: Maintain rigorous quality control measures across all locations, guaranteeing consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. Implement and monitor systems to address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor location managers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing professional development.
  • Customer Experience Focus: Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer service across all locations. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, implement training programs to enhance customer interaction skills, and strive for continuous improvement in the customer experience.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets and financial performance for each location, monitoring sales, expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate. Ensure that financial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Safety & Compliance Advocate: Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations across all locations. Conduct regular audits, address any identified issues promptly, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Area Manager or similar role within the food service industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the food service industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple locations and driving operational excellence.
