Position SummaryWe are currently in search of a full-time Patient Concierge Specialist to work remotely during either the 10am-7pm or 11am-8pm ET shifts. All necessary equipment will be supplied.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive patient engagement by managing inbound communications from both prospective and existing patients.
- Provide education to patients regarding the various services offered by Brave Health.
- Handle a high volume of inquiries through phone calls, text messages, voicemails, and emails related to appointment scheduling and administrative tasks.
- Assist patients in completing pre-appointment documentation accurately.
- Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of all patient records.
- Optimize provider schedules by scheduling and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
- Resolve inquiries and fulfill requests by clarifying information, researching alternatives, and implementing solutions; escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Respond to incoming calls and messages from patients and clinicians.
- Manage voicemails and emails effectively.
- Accurately register and maintain patient records by collecting, documenting, and updating demographic and insurance details.
- Schedule appointments for new patient assessments, medication management, and intake processes.
- Verify patient insurance to confirm eligibility for services.
- Assist patients with minor inquiries and troubleshooting to facilitate a smooth virtual care experience.
- Provide administrative support throughout the patient journey as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams as required.
- Support outreach efforts under the guidance of supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 3 years in a full-time, patient-facing role within a healthcare environment, with call center experience preferred.
- Experience managing patient accounts in a healthcare setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Comfortable adapting to changing demands.
- Familiarity with Google applications and electronic health record systems.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
