Job Title: IT Client Support Specialist

As a key member of the University of Central Florida's College of Engineering and Computer Science, the IT Client Support Specialist will provide exceptional technical support to students, faculty, and staff. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and installing software and hardware, as well as providing training and documentation to end-users.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, analyze, diagnose, and repair workstations.
  • Upgrade and install hardware and software.
  • Relocate and deploy new workstations.
  • Train staff, faculty, and students on technology and software.
  • Provide asset management and documentation.
  • Create and manage trouble and request tickets.
  • Provide customer service to end-users.
  • Set up multimedia for classrooms and special events.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Higher Education.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience using Workday.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience deploying enterprise level software to multiple machines.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience supporting classroom audio/visual equipment requirements.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+.
