The Community Engagement Specialist is tasked with the pre-leasing and leasing of residences.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that the requirements of incoming families are addressed with utmost professionalism and respect.

In addition, the Specialist serves as the primary customer service liaison, welcoming families to the community and nurturing a positive relationship between residents and property management.


Responsibilities:

  • The Community Engagement Specialist (CES) is chiefly responsible for reaching out to applicants and managing the waitlist(s). The CES will collaborate with the Partner to guarantee that all individuals added to the waitlist are compliant with their respective entitlements. The CES will communicate with families via phone or email to inform them of their waitlist status and address any inquiries regarding housing options. To enhance the moving experience, the CES should be available to respond to any questions from residents and should be knowledgeable about showcasing the amenities of the potential unit and property to promote community living.
  • The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for marketing residences to incoming families. The CES should familiarize themselves with various floor plans and be well-versed in the amenities and unique features of the respective property.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for the Community Engagement Specialist.
  • The CES is required to process and finalize all move-in documentation prior to the scheduled move-in date. Under the guidance of the Assistant Community Manager, ensure that all paperwork is accurate and complete. If the incoming family is unable to pre-lease, the CES will maintain communication with the prospective resident and ensure they are informed about the leasing process upon moving in.
  • During the move-in and/or move-out phases, the Community Engagement Specialist will conduct property inspections and report findings to the Assistant Community Manager to assist with the move-out process.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • Sales and leasing experience is advantageous.
1-2 years of experience in Customer Service.

  • General computer proficiency.

Required Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • All specific certifications mandated by law.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Must successfully complete all required training and courses provided by the organization.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Must be eligible to operate a company vehicle for resident inspections and visits.
Salary Range Information

The salary range indicated in each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position.

Within this range, individual compensation is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Salary Range:
$18.38-$20.00 per hour
