Visual Communications Specialist – TS/SCI required

HOW A VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for the design and application of graphics, including the operation and setup of computer graphic systems for effective business communication. Executes graphic projects and assists in coordinating all graphic production schedules; collaborates with external contractors as necessary. Ensures that graphic projects are completed punctually, within budget, and to the satisfaction of users. Engages with users to determine project scope and the most suitable graphic medium. Trains personnel in the proper use of graphic design equipment. Troubleshoots equipment issues and performs minor preventive maintenance. Collaborates with technical teams to produce detailed to high-level graphics for troubleshooting and understanding. Develops guidance, style guides, and templates for the creation, revision, and delivery of internal and external communication materials. Aids in preparing briefings for leadership presentations to internal and government clients, including producing data visualizations, designing PowerPoint presentations, and creating graphics for proposals. Works with subject matter experts to design, produce, and deliver complex graphic products, participating in review meetings to guide project revisions and define requirements. Collaborates across all service areas within programs to gain insights into all facets of the program and technologies. Facilitates discussions on visually representing complex analytical concepts. Ensures deliverables meet editorial and customer specifications, adhering to quality, graphic, format, and style standards.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience. Required Skillset: Experience in software/operations/technical programs; skilled in collaborating with technical teams to produce detailed to high-level graphics; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI. Required Certification(s): DoD .01-M IAT Level II/ Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract. Additional: Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract. Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plugging in cables), and other moderately strenuous activities. Travel may be required to support the mission.
