Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer will be instrumental in defining our financial direction and operational framework to ensure sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic approach and a solid history of financial stewardship within the SaaS industry, emphasizing scalability, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and enhance financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives while mitigating financial risks.
  • Supervise all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, treasury, taxation, legal compliance, and auditing.
  • Lead and guide the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Generate accurate, timely forecasting reports, financial statements, and cash flow analyses.
  • Steer the financial planning process by evaluating performance and identifying risks.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of the organization's financial health and proactively address potential issues.
  • Oversee the finance-related IT systems and tools.
  • Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and investors.
  • Investigate new investment avenues and advise on potential returns and associated risks.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize cost structures and enhance revenue channels.
  • Regularly communicate financial status and developments to the board and shareholders.

Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate financial legislation and risk management practices.
  • Expertise in data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills; ability to inspire and empower teams through data-driven insights.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a CFO, finance officer, or similar role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.
