Business Office Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Office Associate to join our Finance team at Jobot. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including calendar management, corporate file organization, and business inquiry response.
  • Assist with financial tasks, such as budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external meetings, prepare meeting agendas, track action items, and create meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports and support the team in developing and implementing organizational strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Oversee special projects and track progress towards company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Prior experience in the nonprofit sector is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
