Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Production Support Specialist to join our team at Naval Air Systems Command. As a key member of our Production Department, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all program elements and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercise full responsibility and accountability for the planning, directing, controlling, administration, and execution of all program elements and resources.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the program team.
  • Ensure short and long-range manpower requirements are developed and maintained for completing workload obtained through Fleet Readiness Support Meetings (FRSM).
  • Analyze data to ensure production of quality product on schedule and cost.
  • Identify depot processing deficiencies and sponsor Process Action Teams to improve the process.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience must demonstrate the following: planning, directing, controlling, administering, and executing program elements and resources; ensuring short and long-range manpower requirements; analyzing data to ensure production of quality product on schedule and cost; identifying depot processing deficiencies and sponsoring Process Action Teams.
