Job Summary:

Charles County Dermatology Associates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure a smooth and efficient flow of patients throughout the day.
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures, including preparing patients for exams and maintaining a clean and organized exam room.
  • Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Triage and process patient phone calls, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective support.
  • Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a high level of infection control.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good communication and people skills essential for interacting with patients and staff.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
