Job Overview:
This role involves comprehensive management and engineering responsibilities for a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The following key responsibilities are essential for this position:

  • Assisting in project management across diverse land development initiatives, including client engagement, contract discussions, project scheduling, and budget oversight.
  • Overseeing CAD design teams and coordinating projects with various departments, professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Managing permit technicians and facilitating the completion of permit applications and processes.
  • Conducting construction observations, generating field reports on construction activities, and overseeing critical construction tasks.
  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination with construction managers, contractors, owners, inspectors, and permitting authorities.
  • Composing technical documentation, including reports, correspondence, project summaries, and emails.
  • Proficiency in plan drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications:
A Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering development projects, holding a Florida P.E. for at least five years. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook is preferred. The role necessitates interaction with clients and regulatory agencies.

A valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record are required, as driving is a critical component of this position.
