Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client, a leading Commercial Civil construction company in Southwest Florida. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with superintendents, architects, and engineers to establish project priorities and ensure quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Manage Owner's contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders, including financial reporting.
  • Implement contract requirements and ensure compliance with company processes and technology utilization.
  • Participate in business development and community engagement opportunities.
  • Support recruiting, training, and mentoring employees.
  • Estimate projects, including full projects, individual scopes, and change orders.
  • Conduct constructability, safety, and contract reviews.
Requirements
  • Minimum of ten years' experience as a Project Manager and/or Sr. Project Manager on relevant civil work.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of various forms of governmental contracting and specifications.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Reporting and organizational skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Ability to pass background check for necessary Government entities.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Above average computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project, or similar scheduling software, and knowledge of Procore or similar construction software.
  • Excellent proficiency in reading plans and project specifications.
  • Ability to estimate projects.
  • Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand alone on a project inclusive of all day-to-day tasks.
  • Process a solid understanding of construction site-survey layout.
