Baltimore, Maryland, United States The SEED School of Maryland Full time

ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

The SEED School of Maryland is a pioneering public, college-preparatory boarding institution dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience. Since its inception, the school has welcomed a diverse student body in grades 6-12, offering a tuition-free, comprehensive boarding education.

The SEED School emphasizes a well-rounded approach to education, integrating a challenging academic curriculum with essential life skills and enrichment activities. Students and their families engage in a seven-year educational journey characterized by small class sizes, high-quality instruction, mentoring, community service, and a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports and the arts.

Our core values—compassion, self-discipline, integrity, respect, responsibility, honesty, and self-determination—guide our mission. The SEED staff collaborates closely with parents, families, and community partners to foster student success throughout the academic year.

ABOUT EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT

At The SEED School of Maryland, we define External Engagement as the array of off-campus activities, events, and experiences designed to prepare students for higher education. These opportunities provide a platform for students to receive constructive feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement while enhancing their social skills.

We understand that successful college enrollment and graduation require experiences beyond the traditional classroom. To thrive in a collegiate environment, students must be exposed to diverse settings that challenge their comfort zones, allowing them to take risks, engage with various individuals, and broaden their perspectives.
