Position Overview:
The NXL Program Product Manager will work in close collaboration with Program Managers and Operations teams to ensure effective industrial planning and support for the NXL program, aligning with production timelines and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Oversight: Manage all facets of industrial planning for the NXL program, including:
    • Formulating production delivery strategies to satisfy customer requirements.
    • Developing and implementing production initiation and scaling plans.
    • Overseeing work transfers and product modifications.
    • Identifying potential delivery challenges and devising mitigation strategies.
    • Crafting recovery plans for production.
    • Engaging with customers effectively.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the main liaison for customers, ensuring their requirements are recognized and met throughout the production cycle.
  • Industrial Strategy: Perform capacity evaluations, cycle time assessments, and workforce planning to meet production demands.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives aimed at improving delivery timelines and operational productivity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and present regular industrial reviews to internal teams, partners, and clients. Collaborate with external joint venture partners and participate in various production and program control boards.
  • Travel: Engage in international travel to provide on-site support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing context, particularly in aviation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and persuasive skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in managing operational processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
