Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Bread Alone Bakery plays a crucial role in fostering collaborative relationships with organizational leaders while significantly contributing to the recruitment of talent that aligns with the company's mission and objectives. This role involves daily collaboration with department heads to ensure a smooth process in identifying, hiring, and onboarding new talent.

The ideal candidate is a skilled problem solver who approaches challenges with practical solutions. They possess excellent communication skills and address issues directly with the team. Key responsibilities include digital and grassroots recruiting initiatives, candidate evaluation, interviewing, and managing the onboarding process for new hires.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. We prioritize creating manageable schedules to promote work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement effective recruitment strategies across the organization.
  • Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process, including sourcing initiatives through networking events and partnerships with local organizations.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to determine staffing needs aligned with the company's strategic plan.
  • Develop a talent pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Ensure staffing levels are maintained to support consistent growth.
  • Assist in managing job requisitions across various departments.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during the offer and onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate a seamless onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation and organizing schedules.
  • Participate in the development of recruitment objectives and metrics to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Communicate recruitment challenges to relevant departments and assist in resolving issues.
  • Provide ongoing support to new and existing employees regarding company values, culture, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital files for new hires, including compliance documentation.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to recruitment and onboarding, ensuring data accuracy in HRIS.
  • Interpret and communicate employee policies and procedures effectively.
  • Embody the values of teamwork, empathy, and resilience within the company culture.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks promptly as directed by the Department Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently for extended periods while maintaining accuracy.

  • Physical capability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
  • Availability to work throughout the year, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Compensation: We are committed to providing a living wage, with pay ranging from $22 to $30 per hour.
