About the Organization:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, inspect, and authorize onsite residential septic systems
- Support the permitting process for large onsite water pollution control facilities
- Address complaints regarding septic system infractions
- Offer technical guidance related to septic systems

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in physical science, environmental science, or a related discipline, along with 3 years of pertinent experience

- Registration with the Oregon Health Licensing Office in an environmental discipline
- Completion of 10 hours of soil science coursework within the first two years of employment

- Familiarity with onsite wastewater treatment systems
- Experience in septic system inspections
- Capability to investigate environmental complaints
