Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Auto Plus. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to visit local and out-of-town customers to provide exceptional customer service and promote our products.
  • Take stock orders and present new product offerings to customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product availability and pricing.
  • Collect payments as needed and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the parts manager to obtain approval for special pricing and ensure that all pricing is up-to-date.
  • Advises counter person on delivery instructions and follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
  • Turns in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Updates customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.
  • Adds new customers to appropriate mailing lists.
  • Attends training seminars when possible to stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and provides excellent customer service at all times.

  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new products and services.
  • Fantastic communication skills with customers.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
