Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance, servicing, and installation of commercial cooking and food preparation equipment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service assignments.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to identify and procure necessary components.
  • Maintain an organized service vehicle and manage inventory of parts and tools effectively.
  • Engage with manufacturers for assistance in diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions, gather relevant data, and determine necessary repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate service requirements professionally.
  • Advocate for additional services offered by JWS to clients.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED, along with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrate passion and empathy towards customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools for detailed tasks.
  • Strong safety awareness and capability to navigate stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in gas, electric, plumbing, or steam systems is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years in commercial equipment repair or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical capabilities: Frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and the ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
  • Experience working with mechanical parts, pressurized systems, and in potentially hazardous conditions.
