About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Colliers International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of property management staff to ensure the successful operation of our portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Mentor and manage your team to achieve overall organizational goals.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Expand the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
  • Manage your day effectively and anticipate challenges.
  • Maintain existing clients while continually expanding the business base.
  • Directly manage portfolio properties as necessary.
  • Recruit actively within the marketplace to grow the office strategically in defined market segments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience managing commercial real estate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid real estate license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with a high degree of professionalism and experience managing staff.
  • Experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI, etc.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.
Bonus Skills and Experience
  • Industry-specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred.
  • Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short- and long-term strategies.
  • Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expense.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $127,000 - $150,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical benefits, 401k plan, and paid time off. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. 12 weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
